Our mission is to bring the finest training of the 19th and 20th Centuries of the Russian Music Conservatory to the modern America of the 21st Century. We proudly carry the legacy of highly respected European traditions of musical performance and pedagogy.The entire faculty of the Arshavsky Music School is Russian-conservatory trained and specializes in Piano,Violin,Voice,Viola and Music Theory. Our professors have passed the unique traditions of their legendary predecessors-Busoni,Liszt, Czerny and ...yes,even Beethoven and our intention is to continue to develop great traditions of Russian and European music education and (at the same time) to accumulate the most productive ideas and experiences of the contemporary world of musical pedagogy. We never stop learning....Arshavsky Music School is one of very few family music schools in the United States,where teaching is a family tradition.The Arshavsky Family faculty are each parents and we teach the way we want our own children to be taught. For the last 20 years we have prepared many students for successful conservatory and college auditions and they have gone on to study at such world-renowned institutions as Eastman, Juilliard, Manhattan School of Music, Peabody Conservatory,New England Conservatory and to the finest Universities such as Boston University, Massachussets Institute of Technology, Northwestern University, Texas Christian University, Emory University, Duke University, Rice University and other colleges. .
